Mr. Buskirk is a former principal of a diversified financial services firm based in Phoenix with annual sales in excess of $100 million. In his capacity as President of the firm, Mr. Buskirk oversaw its growth from a local monoline firm to a diversified enterprise with a national scope and a leadership position in each of its chosen markets. Growth was achieved through a combination of organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions.
Following a sale of the firm, Mr. Buskirk became a founding principal in a specialty e-commerce firm as well as a retail financial services with an emphasis on specialty lending where his experience with acquisitions and management helped accelerate the firm’s growth. Both firms were sold to strategic buyers. Prior to returning to Phoenix, Mr. Buskirk worked as a research fellow for the Claremont Institute on a variety of projects relating to land use and public policy for some of the largest landowners and developers in Southern California. Mr. Buskirk graduated Cum Laude from Claremont McKenna College with a degree in Government. He is also the recipient of an Earhart Fellowship and a Publius Fellowship.
